At 遊誌JOURNEYING we are honoured to collaborate in this issue with The HKU Academy for the Talented on an exciting exploration of Life Stories among young Hong Kong writers. Meet the Winning Writers in this Video!

The HKU Life Story prize encourages rising secondary students across Hong Kong to write their Life Stories in these challenging times. During the often bewildering and isolating time of the pandemic, The HKU Academy for the Talented and The HKU GUILD initiated an invitation to young writers of Hong Kong, welcoming them to share their developing life stories.

At 遊誌JOURNEYING we are honored now to publish and curate the following eight winning Life Stories in full. We congratulate all the writers for their winning entry! Please take a moment meet them in our introductory video.

You will also find selected excerpts from every other entry that was submitted. Please find the link here and we thank every writer to taking the courage to share a Life Story with us here at The HKU Guild in collaboration with the HKU Academy for the Talented!
