遊誌JOURNEYING is a powerful new brand of creative writing and multimedia arts based at The University of Hong Kong
If you look closely, 遊誌JOURNEYING reveals its rings of growth around its origins, Yuan Yang: A Journal of Hong Kong and International Writing.
YY, as it is affectionally called, has roots going back more than 15 years.
A journal of its time, YY opened to writers in Hong Kong, the region, and those around the world, passionate about writing in English.
YY published original works in English of fiction, poetry, plays, life writing and interviews from Japan, Italy, Singapore, Nigeria, Canada, Sweden, Greece, Macau, and more.
Time passes. No longer urgent is this green fuse that drives the journal YY. An assumption of English or any language, or any taste, for any writer is ever more just that, a given.
From the roots of YY in Hong Kong 遊誌JOURNEYING is born. We celebrate the 21st-century writer and artists, our new tastes, and the totality of our interactive environments.
